| Q. |
Do you have any guidelines on photographs? |
| A. |
The picture should ideally by a close-up of subjects although we can crop any unnecessary background.
It is best to keep the background simple and avoid clutter in the picture. For example strong patterns on clothing or a very busy backdrop may detract from the picture.
Please make sure to send us the picture in high resolution format as this will ensure a good print quality (as a guideline, the file size is likely to be over 800k). In the event that we feel the photo is of insufficient quality to print well, we will endeavour to inform you to that effect prior to printing your cards. However, we cannot be held responsible for dissapointing results if the photo has been sent to us in low resolution format.
Should you require a black and white picture on your cards, simply attach a colour photo in the ususal way. You can then indicate on the 'Additional requirements' page towards the end of the order process that you want the picture converted to monochrome. |
